BARD Google I/O

Google recently launched its own conversational AI technology named Bard at Google I/O 2023. With its launch, the use of artificial intelligence across Google’s platform is expanded to 180 countries, posing a competition to Microsoft-backed ChatGPT.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai described the opportunity to engage people directly with Bard as one of the most exciting opportunities.

The chatbot is accessible at bard.google.com and supports Japanese and Korean languages, and Google plans to add 40 more languages in the future.

The AI technology is still in its experimental stage, and Google acknowledges that it may contain inaccuracies. Therefore, the company advises users to double-check information provided by Bard.

BARD V/S ChatGPT

Unlike ChatGPT, Bard will stay updated with the latest developments, and it offers multiple drafts for a single query, allowing users to review different responses before finalizing their query. In Contrast, ChatGPT provides responses in a more natural, typed-out manner. The use of generative AI technology in Bard will also be used to enhance the search engine’s performance.
